Fed: Prof John Hay to head new uni teaching committee
Queensland University vice-chancellor Professor JOHN HAY is to chair the newly-formed
Australian Universities Teaching Committee.
Education Minister DAVID KEMP says the committee will replace the Committee for University
Teaching and Staff Development in the new year.
Professor HAY chaired the previous committee, which was given a three-year charter,
finishing this year.
Dr KEMP says the new body will focus on large-scale, cross-institutional and international
collaborative projects.
