Fed: Kernot back and declaring she ll stay = 2

Prominent Labor frontbencher CHERYL KERNOT's returned to work today with a big welcome
back not only from Opposition leader KIM BEAZLEY but also from the Prime Minister and
the Treasurer.

Both Mr HOWARD and Mr COSTELLO have wished Ms KERNOT well after her three-month break.

The Opposition's employment spokeswoman has been off work convalescing after glandular fever.

Mr HOWARD says he wishes her a full recovery in her health -- as he would wish for
any other Australian.

And Mr COSTELLO says she'll be welcomed back to work.

The Treasurer says he's looking forward to seeing her back in Canberra and he hopes
the Labor party gives her the support she deserves.
