Fed: Cornelia Rau behind bars again
SYDNEY, Feb 21 AAP - The family of Cornelia Rau has called for an overhaul of the mental
health system after the Australian resident was detained in Jordan.
Ms Rau, who suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, is in an Amman jail after
roaming the Middle East for the past few months while not taking her medication.
Her arrest, while behaving erratically in the city of Tafila on Wednesday, is the latest
unfortunate incident to befall her since South Australian guardianship authorities began
allowing her to travel overseas last June, Fairfax newspapers …
