FED: Commonwealth bill is revolutionary, Turnbull
The Federal Environment Minister says their plan to seize control of the Murray-Darling
Basin is revolutionary and would right a wrong in Australia's constitution.
But MALCOLM TURNBULL has ruled out similar federal management of urban water.
He says the government has no appetite for further constitutional battles.
The legislation concerning Australia's largest river system will be introduced to parliament
this week.
